Alongside other European surveys, SHARE attended a meeting titled “Using Social Science Data and Interdisciplinary Research to Help Reduce Global Health inequalities” at the European Commission in Brussels on September 13.[1] With the new Head of Research and Industrial Infrastructures of the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, Adam Tyson, as well as European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Vytenis Andriukaitis, International Coordinator Annette Scherpenzeel represented SHARE to discuss policy implications based on academic research.
